Maria Jaime

Maria J. Jaime has worked as a Clinical Administrative Assistant at the University of Miami for almost 15 years, and in the Neuromuscular Division of the Department of Neurology since 2008. Meri is often the first person patients talk to when they call the Kessenich Family ALS Center. She schedules all clinic appointments, arranges appropriate referrals, acquires relevant medical records, and does all that she can to reduce the administrative burden on our physicians and other health care providers. Her favorite quotation is "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take; but by the numbers that take our breaths away."

Digna Cossio

Digna Cossio is a clinical Administrative Assistant who has worked in the Department of Neurology at the University of Miami for the last 20 years. She provides administrative clinical support to several of our neurologists, including oversight of clinical schedules and the electromyography (EMG) laboratory. She also serves as a liaison between patients and our doctors, helping to ensure that our patientsí needs are met. Ms. Cossio resides in South Florida with her husband and two sons. She loves the beach, and enjoys reading and travel with her family.
